Creature Scavenger Hunt
October 29 at 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. – 4p.m. | October 30 at 11:30 a.m.- 1p.m. & 3:30 p.m – 5 p.m.
Our museum wide, trick or treat styled scavenger hunt returns! This year, monster researcher Dr. Fan Helpsing needs assistance finding and learning about cool creatures. Seek the hidden monsters around the museum, complete their challenges, and collect some take-home, non-edible treats.
Costume Parade & Dance Party with DJ Jampire
October 29 at 1pm | October 30 at 2p.m.
Parade around the museum alongside Port Discovery staff and friends while showing off your awesome costume. Then join in a dance party with a special music mix by our very own DJ Jampire!
Scarecrow Greg May

Scarecrow Greg will be roaming throughout the museum with circus tricks, magic tricks, and lots of silliness! Watch out! He might even show up ten-feet tall!
Encounter Magic

October is the most magical of months, and magicians Brian Kehoe and Annie Montone (“Fox and Wolf,” “School of Magic Arts”) are pleased to be teaming with Port Discovery for the upcoming “Rattle Your Bones” weekend. On October 30th, Brian and Annie will be strolling through the museum entertaining visitors with unique and spooky magic effects fun for the whole family. There will even be opportunities for guests to learn a simple effect to perform on their own. Don’t miss out!
